​We’re Jason and Katie Marxer — the husband-and-wife team behind The Veil Wedding Loft, a historic wedding venue in the heart of downtown Redlands. When we first stepped into this venue, we instantly felt its magic.

The brick, the chandeliers, the hidden charm… it was the kind of place that makes you imagine walking down the aisle the second you see it.

But as we grew, we realized something important:
Our old name didn’t truly reflect who we are or what we do for our couples.

So in 2026, we made a change — a name that finally aligns with the experiences we create here.

Same venue. Same team. Same heart.

Just a name that speaks directly to weddings, elegance, and the unforgettable moments that happen behind our doors.

Because a veil is more than fabric — it’s a moment.

It’s the soft, emotional beginning of a day you’ll remember forever.

Our space has always been a place for those moments. Now our name reflects that.

Who We Are

I’m Katie — the coffee-loving, charcuterie-board-scouting, detail-obsessed heart of this venue. I thrive when I’m working directly with our clients, taking your ideas and turning them into something better than you could have ever imagined. If you stop by, you’ll almost always find me buzzing around with a latte in hand and a big smile, making sure every detail is exactly right.

While Jason keeps our financials in line, there's so much more to him than just numbers and spreadsheets.

He enjoys photography, capturing the beauty of the world around him. Music is another big part of his life. 

Jason shines most when working and interacting with people. Whether it's collaborating with me to bring our clients' visions to life or rolling up his sleeves to lend a hand at events, he thrives on the energy of human connection. Jason brings a unique perspective to our business, making every moment unforgettable.

Our Story

Owning a wedding venue has been a dream for both of us — one guided by faith, hard work, and a lot of stepping out in courage. Redlands welcomed us, and we fell in love with its history, charm, and tight-knit community.

We’re passionate about preserving the character of this 1899 building while elevating it with a modern, romantic wedding-loft feel. We love Redlands, and we love celebrating alongside the couples who choose to begin their forever here.
